When it’s necessary to operate several computers with multiple displays via a single keyboard and mouse, the TC KM Switch is the ideal solution. The TC series of KM switches provide the function to switch with one set of keyboard and mouse to up to 8 computers and monitors. With a hotkey- sequence or via push buttons, the user may switch keyboard and mouse fast between the screens. Additionally, each monitor can be equipped with an LED to signal the active monitor & CPU.
Switching
A user-friendly interface makes it quick and easy to manage multiple CPU data from a single workstation.
Switching between the CPUs is triggered by programmable keyboard sequences. In addition, the TC Switch offers also an RJ-10 port for each CPU output, to add activity LEDs or push button controls to the monitors. Or use the Glide-and-Switch function by panning the mouse cursor beyond the border of the monitor to switch between different monitors that are in vertical or horizontal positioned to each other.
Indicate your active Monitor
Use the optional LEDs (KV0004A-XTRA-LED) to see the active display and the location of the mouse pointer. Order 1 LED per computer port. The LEDs come with an integrated cable and an adhesive pad to fix it at the monitor. A bright light indicates which monitor is active.
USB
The TC KM switch supports all USB HID devices like keyboard and mouse, as well as touchscreens, panels or similar pointing or input devices. The TC reads the data from the connected USB peripherals and mirrors this information 1-to-1 to the connected CPU ports. While switching between the computers, the keyboard and mouse set keeps the connection to all connected CPU active. Thus switching is very reliable and fast. The 4-port TC comes in different variations supporting 2 or 4 USB HID connections or 2 USB-HID and 2 USB 2.0 devices with USB 2.0 switching on the upper board. The 8-port TC features 2 USB HID ports.
Integration with other systems
Switching applications for the TC switch are normally found in banking, surveillance, command and control environments where multiple displays connected to different remote computers must be managed simultaneously. For these applications, the TC KM switch can easily be integrated in KVM extension and switching systems such as the DKM Matrix Switches and Extenders. Users thus can perform fast and accurate mouse selections across multiple displays without the need to manually change keyboard and mouse connections. You achieve a seamless and smooth operation to move a mouse across adjacent display boundaries.

Mounting
The TC KM switch was developed as a desktop switch for applications on a trading desk at control centers and control rooms. The compact enclosure fits also easily into 19” cabinets and racks. Use the optional rackmount kits to mount up to two devices in 1U rack space.
